San Francisco’s Ne Timeas Restaurant Group, owner/operator of the exceptionally popular Flour + Water, tasked KRBS with layout, design and specification for three new outlets in the Lower Mission neighborhood of San Francisco.
It was a huge advantage working with someone who could look at the project from all angles and who has a deep understanding of how a kitchen works. These attributes coupled with an encyclopedic knowledge of food service equipment make Alec one of the best designers out there. These included Central Kitchen, an intimate fine dining restaurant with exhibition kitchen, Salumeria, an Old World delicatessen serving house-made salume and spit roasted meats, and Trick Dog, a new food and beverage concept partnering with cocktail consultants the Bon Vivants. Set to open in Spring 2012, Central Kitchen and Salumeria include skinning and interiors by Paxton Gate, with Trick Dog by Wylie Price.
